During Yr.1, I made a series of sculptures titled Media Mayhem, and an art film named Techy. The mixed media and virtual sculptures of Media Mayhem are corrupted manifestations of technology. Inspired by Glitch Art, the clash of logos and pop culture references depicts social media and apps, chaotic and addictive, whether it stems from the fear of missing out updates, the constant data mining, or to cope with depression and boredom.
